Newcomers’ Dinner

If you are new to Calvary we welcome you! If you would like to learn more about the fellowship, our vision and how you can be a part of it, then you are invited! Dinner is at the church on Saturday, May 19^th at 6:00pm to hear from the leaders, meet other people and get to know more about Calvary Chapel!

 

Youth Ministry – Every Tuesday Starting May 15^th!

If you are in 7^th – 12^th grade, please join us on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30pm at church for games, snacks, great fellowship and an interactive and relevant Bible Study discussing issues you face today.

 

Freedom for Youth Dinner – 3^rd Wed This Month!

We serve dinner to kids at FFY the last Wednesday of each month. If you would like to sign up to provide part of a meal, please do so on the Info Table, or see Stacie Hotchkiss with questions. You don’t have to go in order to help provide a meal.  You can drop the food off at church. 

 

Are You Looking for a Way to Serve the Lord?

If you would like to serve the Lord at Calvary please fill out an Info Card and place it in the Agape Box.  A ministry leader will contact you. Blessings to you!

Have you invited someone to church and wished you had something to give them?  On our Info Table we have free tracts, pens, and CCLH cards available for help inviting someone.  Please feel free to use these resources!

CCLH Summer Picnics

Our summer picnics are the last Sunday of each month from noon to 4:00pm. Our first one is at American Legion Park (4^th & Vine) in WDM. Please bring a dish to share. The church will provide drinks and paper products. The park has a great playground for kids, tennis courts, sand volleyball, basketball, and a huge field for softball, soccer and games. We hope to see you there!

 

Retirement Home Ministry

Our Retirement Home Ministry meets at Manor Care the last Sunday each month at 2:00pm.  The time includes worship, Bible Study, and fellowship.  If you’d like to help bless the folks at Manor Care, please see Mitch.

 

Police Week Community Picnic

May 4^th begins Police Memorial Week. May 16^th the WDMPD will host a picnic on the front lawn of the station. Come enjoy exhibits, demonstrations, a picnic dinner, a bounce house and clown for kids. All kids will also receive a free bike helmet. The time is 5:00-8:00pm.  Please to come by and show your support!

 

New Children’s Ministry Class for 5^th – 7^th Graders!

We are blessed to announce a new class for the growing Children’s Ministry. Beginning May 6^th we will have a new class for 5^th – 7^th grade students on the 1^st and 3^rd Sundays each month. The students will worship in the sanctuary then meet in the foyer for a Bible Study with their peers.

 

Men’s Prayer

We meet for prayer the second Saturday of every month at 8:00am at church for an hour of prayer and seeking the Lord! We hope you will join us!

 

Men’s Study

We meet every Thursday from 7:00-8:30pm at church for a study through the Minor Prophets. Join us for a time of prayer, study and discussion. For more info or to be added to the weekly email chain, please see Ryan or John.

 

Ladies’ Night Out

Ladies, join us for a great evening of fellowship the third Sunday of each month!  We meet at HyVee on Valley West at 5:00pm.  Join us for dinner or just for fun!  For more info or questions, please see Cindy or call 987-4512.

 

Ladies’ Winter & Spring Bible Study – The Gospel of John

This series is hosted by Cathie Laurie and others who share via DVD the gospel of John.  We would be delighted to have you, God’s precious daughter, join us! The study is Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm thru June 11^th. Cost is $20 for the workbook. Please see Jane Engelhardt for more information.

Biblical Education for Children

We have a loving and safe Children’s Ministry to minister to your kids at their age level.  The age groups are as follows:
