Wednesdays – “The Truth Project” – Final Week

Join this Wednesday for the last tour in “The Truth Project”.  Join us this week for a study on “Community and Involvement”.

 

“Church in the Park” – Wednesdays in August

Wednesdays in August we will have Worship & Bible Study in the picnic shelter at American Legion Park on 4^th and Vine in WDM.  We hope to see you there!

 

Calvary Kids Club on Wednesdays!

CKC is a great study for 1^st – 6^th grade students to learn of the love of Jesus and how to live for him through study, scripture memory and activities.

 

Junior High Study & Game Night

Our next JH Game Night is at the Freeman’s on Thursday, July 29^th from 6:00-8:30pm!  We’ll have snacks, games, a message from God’s Word and lots of fun!  We hope to see you there and feel free to invite a friend!

 

High School Game Night

Join us on Friday, August 13^th from 7-10pm for a night of fun!  We’ll have great fellowship and games!  Please see Jim or Lisa for more information, and feel free to invite some friends.

 

“Pure Holiness” Purity Conference – Tomorrow!

Young ladies 11-19 years old, if you are interested in going to the purity conference in Illinois please see Becky today.  There is room for a few more.

 

CCLH Summer Picnic

Our next summer picnic is August 21^st from 11:30-3:30pm at Crossroads Park.  The church will provide drinks, condiments and paper products.  We will potluck everything else.  A grill will be available.  We’ll have games and a great playground for kids!  We hope you will be there!

Family Swim Night – Tonight!

Join us this evening from 6:30-8:30pm at Valley View Aquatic Center for Family Swim Night.  The cost is only $10 (paid at the gate) for your entire family.  There are many great slides, pools, the lazy river and fun pool toys!

 

Married Couples’ Retreat – “Foundations for a Lasting Marriage”

Pastor Gillette and Victoria Doggett will join us and several Calvary’s from the Midwest for a time of ministry to married couples.  The retreat will be in Okoboji, Iowa October 23^rd and 24^th.  The cost is $200/couple.  Whether you need some help in your marriage, or just need some time away, we hope you will join us for this very encouraging weekend!

 

Living Hope Camp at Saylorville

If you enjoy camping and great fellowship you won’t want to miss our second annual church camp at Saylorville.  The dates are August 8-11 and the cost is $15/person.  Sign-ups begin next week!  S’mores, campfires, hikes, fishing, devotions, lake, lots of fun!  We hope you can join us!

 

Ladies’ Fall Bible Study – “Living Beyond Yourself”

The study begins September 13^th and will be on the 2^nd and 4^th Mondays of each month at the Church Office.  The cost of the book is $20.

 

Ladies’ Retreat – “Falling for Him”

Ladies, August 27^th-28^th is our retreat “Falling for Him” at Wesley Woods.  Come and be blessed with your sisters in this excellent study of Esther.  We’ll enjoy time in the Word, fellowship and fun!  The cost is $80/person.

 

Ladies’ Night Out

Ladies, join us for a great evening of fellowship on Sunday, August 15^th!  We meet at HyVee on Valley West Dr. at 5:00pm.  Join us for dinner or just for fun!  For more info or questions, please see Cindy or call 987-4512.

 

Men’s Study

We meet the 1^st & 3^rd Monday each month from 6:30 to 8:00pm at the church office, 6000 Douglas Ave.  We hope you will join us!  We will be studying together through, “The Measure of a Man”.

 

Monthly Men’s Breakfast

Our next Men’s Breakfast is Sat., August 14^th at 8:00am at Hy-Vee on Grand in the room off the cafeteria!  We hope each of you will join us!

 

Retirement Home Ministry

Our Retirement Home Ministry meets at Manor Care the last Sunday each month at 2:00pm.  The time includes worship, Bible Study, and fellowship.  If you’d like to help bless the folks at Manor Care please see Bob or Mitch.

 

Men’s Prayer

We meet the 1^st & 3^rd Saturdays of each month to pray from 7:30-8:30am at Mitch’s.  For info please call Mitch at 457-1397.  Men, let’s bless our body by going to battle for them in prayer! 

 

Biblical Education for Children & Young Adults

We have loving and safe Children’s and Youth Ministries to serve your kids at their age level.  The age groups are as follows:

* Nursery – infant to 2 years old – Room near south entrance

* 3 – 5 years old – Room at the north entrance

* 1^st – 6^th Grade – Reception Room          *JH & HS in the Sanctuary
